The All New Kia Carnival 2025 : The great minivan

Kia Carnival 2025 is an innovative MPV that redefines versatility and sophistication in the family vehicle segment. Boasting class-leading passenger and cargo space, this vehicle provides all of the latest features designed to make life with children simpler than ever.

The Carnival’s SUV-inspired styling provides suburban camouflage when picking up children at school pickup line, yet still provides minivan functionality with sliding side doors and ride height that makes securing children to car seats much simpler than in an SUV.

Features

The 2025 Kia Carnival sets an entirely new standard in multipurpose vehicles, from its eye-catching design to cutting-edge connectivity and family-oriented features. It stands up well against models such as Toyota Sienna and Chrysler Pacifica; hybrid variants offer even greater powertrain diversity.

Kia offers this front-wheel drive variant featuring a 1.6L four-cylinder and 54kW electric motor combination to produce 242 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, sent directly to the front wheels via six speed automatic transmission. Kia also promises benefits that go beyond fuel economy in this hybrid model such as adjustable regenerative braking that mimics one pedal drive capability of some electric vehicles and special motor tuning that enhances ride and handling characteristics.

Kia offers its Carnival SUV in both value-oriented base trim and EX level with luxury amenities including second row slide-flex seating, synthetic leather upholstery, power rear doors and power operated rear doors. Furthermore, this Kia Drive Wise model also comes equipped with advanced driver assistance systems including auto emergency braking technology, lane departure warning and highway driving assist as part of Kia’s ADAS suite KIA Drive Wise.

Style

Kia’s 2025 Carnival MPV redefines versatility and sophistication in the MPV market with a sleek design, spacious passenger and cargo capacity, and innovative turbo-hybrid powertrain. When it hits showrooms this summer, this 2025 model will provide hybrid technology combining a gasoline 1.6-liter engine with 54kW electric motor to produce 242 horsepower at an EPA estimated 26mpg combined fuel economy rating.

Safety-wise, an array of advanced driver assistance systems is standard; these include forward collision avoidance assist, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors and lane departure warning with lane keeping assist. Available features include junction crossing assist, evasive steering assist, and navigation-based smart cruise control. Kia’s cabin features a larger 12-inch touchscreen that runs the latest Connected Car Navigation Cockpit operating system, supporting Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration along with over-the-air updates for continuous improvement. New powered sliding second row seats are also featured; for added luxury the SX Prestige includes VIP seating with reclining heated/ventilated front row captain chairs that recline for improved comfort.

Technology

The 2025 Kia Carnival offers an innovative hybrid powertrain option capable of reaching 32 miles per gallon. Combining a gasoline engine and electric motor gives the vehicle 242 horsepower, and allows faster acceleration compared to non-hybrid models. Furthermore, advanced systems accelerate and decelerate electric motors for improved ride comfort such as E-Ride and E-Evasive Handling Assist help optimize handling and ride comfort.

Standard driver assistance features include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and smart cruise control; higher trim levels add rear automatic braking, lane centering and adaptive cruise control as standard features.

Kia has also revamped the cabin’s infotainment system with an upgraded 12.3-inch touchscreen running the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit operating system, which organizes frequently used apps into Quick Controls menu and manages over-the-air updates more efficiently. Furthermore, drivers can control it via smartphone with Kia UVO Link app for starting and locking their vehicle, unlocking doors remotely and finding their vehicle easily in a crowded parking lot.

Safety

The 2025 Carnival minivan is one of the safest cars you can purchase, thanks to Kia’s advanced Advanced Driver Assistance Systems suite known as Drive Wise, which helps avoid collisions by keeping an eye out for nearby vehicles and providing auto emergency braking, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist and rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist as standard features. Higher end models feature Highway Driving Assist 2 to help maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead of you while helping keep you from losing your position in traffic.

On its exterior, the new Kia Carnival boasts updated headlights, taillights and wheels as well as an eye-catching rear-view camera and intelligent parking assist feature which automatically manages steering, acceleration and braking functions.

Inside, the 2025 Kia Carnival comfortably seats seven to eight passengers depending on your trim level and can include VIP lounge seats with reclining second-row captain’s chairs for greater comfort.
